Especially for weddings in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, Laura will play prelude and service/mass music and a recessional on trumpet along with the organist, and will then play the Great Highland Bagpipes outside the venue as a postlude, fully uniformed in the kilt and appropriate accessories. This is a popular and economical choice for those who wish to have both trumpet and bagpipes at their wedding. The fee for this service starts at $250 - kindly contact me before purchasing on this site to be sure of date and venue availability and to discuss any special requirements you might have.As to my qualifications, I graduated from Temple University summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Education and earned a Master of Arts in Instrumental Conducting from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey), graduating with a 4.0 average. In addition to being an accomplished piper, I am a long-time freelance trumpet player, having worked my way through college playing in the casinos in Atlantic City, NJ and touring with various musical acts. I can be heard playing trumpet in community and regional theater pit orchestras as well as in area churches as a soloist and with my brass quartet.
